Perched on the same spot and designed in a similar but more contemporary interpretation of the original clubhouse—the Hacienda del Pozo de Verona—The Club at Castlewood has old roots dating back to nearly 100 years ago. The extensive renovation of the 50-year-old golf clubhouse built in 1971, which had never seen significant updates, sought to preserve the historical style of the elevation with minimal exterior modifications, while extensively renovating the interiors to modernize and enhance function.
In the Renovation category, The Club at Castlewood has received an Honorable Mention in Golf Inc. Magazine's 2023 Clubhouse of the Year Awards. Featured in the latest issue of Golf Inc., a prestigious and widely distributed publication in the golf industry, this significant achievement is garnering national recognition for the project, our client, and for DAHLIN's commercial and interior design teams. Congratulations to the team for their collaborative spirit, project design excellence, and a shared commitment to Passion for Place®.
