2018 DAHLIN Barkitecture

  • Pleasanton, California
  • ARF

Barkitecture is a design-build fundraiser developed by DAHLIN staff rooted in their Passion for Place. Our firm cultivates a culture of giving back by supporting its people in applying their talents to projects with a positive social impact.

Building upon our success of the past two years, Barkitecture is back, with four teams of DAHLIN staff volunteering their time to design and build creative pet homes to support Tony La Russa’s Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF). The pet homes are raffled off and all proceeds go directly to ARF to help save dogs and cats that have run out of time at public shelters.

"After touring ARF's inspiring facility, we felt an instant connection to their work. Their mission of "People Rescuing Animals...Animals Rescuing People®" resonated strongly with me, and reminded me of the special bond that I have with my own rescue dog." -- Jaime Matheron, Architect, DAHLIN

"Through Barkitecture, we are able to share our design talents with the community while helping a foundation that provides care for animals in need." -- Miranda Clark, Designer, DAHLIN
