The greatest challenge was integrating the new facilities to preserve as many of the site's mature heritage trees. DAHLIN designed four new facilities including the Creekside Clubhouse, Studio/Cart Barn, Equipment Barn, and the Rossmoor Event Center, totaling 55,190 square feet. The new Craftsman-styled buildings of the Creekside Complex feature four multipurpose spaces/meeting rooms for social gathering, a golf pro shop, a bar and grill with indoor and outdoor patio seating, and staff offices. The complex also supports a studio for the community's Rossmoor News and Channel 28, with an interior golf cart barn and a second equipment barn with security and maintenance.
The Rossmoor Event Center completes the multibuilding complex of this vibrant social center. Designed to host larger special events, four multipurpose spaces flexibly adapt to serve as a banquet hall and event space for formal theatrical performances. Outfitted with a formal green room and actors' changing rooms, the facility also features a full commercial kitchen for catered events.
