Embracing the topography and forested surroundings of the site, the Moonstone Collection creatively arranges housing to orient around small pockets of play areas and open space, creating a tightly knit, pedestrian-friendly neighborhood. Using the sloping terrain to create terraces of row townhomes and park duets, the visual variety of the neighborhood offers a mixture of contemporary and classic architecture including Craftsman, Shingle, Transitional, Contemporary, and Northwest Contemporary styles. The plans are distinguished by inviting covered entries providing access to the foyer, open floor plans for main living spaces, first-floor bedrooms with a bathroom, and generously-sized primary suites.
Inspiration from Duvall’s Big Rock is translated into the design and materials of the community clubhouse, a centerpiece at the heart of the master planned community and surrounded by the townhomes of the Moonstone Collection neighborhood. Walking paths connecting Moonstone to seven other neighborhood parks and a tree-lined promenade, create a pedestrian-friendly community and a gateway to nature trails beyond.
