The permanence and affordability of stable housing provides people who formerly experienced homelessness an opportunity to thrive within their community and establish more productive lives with safe, decent and stable housing. The six-story 57-unit affordable supportive housing project consists of 33 studios, 24 one-bedroom units, and one two-bedroom unit reserved for the property manager. Coordinated support services and activities include on-site workshops, group sessions, life skills, job training, informal gatherings, and one-on-one meetings.
Residential common spaces include a multipurpose room, community kitchen, property management office, case manager offices, and an outdoor courtyard with barbecues concentrated on the ground level. An additional outdoor common space is located on the second floor podium level with a small resident deck on the sixth floor. These amenities are available to all of the building’s permanent residents. Trash and laundry facilities serve each floor. Due to a tenant population with a very low percentage of car ownership, the ground floor parking garage includes nine parking spaces and increased bike storage to accommodate up to 63 bicycles.
